WHO
REMEMBERS CAMBERLEY KATE? |
Does
anyone remember Camberley Kate? I used to live in Camberley
may years ago (circa 1975) and Camberley Kate was a very common
site in the town centre. Kate was an old woman, a tramp, and
she would wheel around a little cart full of stray dogs that
she had rescued. Rumour has it that when she died she left a
substantial amount of money for the dogs to be looked after.
